TS 35/10 kV “Velika Župa”

In Velika Župa near Prijepolje, the construction of a new 35/10 kV, 2 x 8 MVA substation began in early May 2023, the construction of which will ensure a safer power supply for consumers, and the conditions for connecting new users to the power grid will be met.

Montprojekt d.o.o. Belgrade is carrying out complete works on this building. Currently, construction works are underway on the construction of the building, the foundations of the transformer and the arrangement of the entire plot.

According to the dynamics of the works, it is planned that most of the construction works will be completed by the end of September, in order to start electrical installation works in the beginning of October, within the building itself (assembly and connection of 35 kV and 10 kV plants, AC and DC distributions, own consumption, general installations), as well as the installation of large equipment (power transformers) on the plateau in front of the building.

The deadline for the execution of the works is 18 months, however, considering that the works are currently progressing ahead of the planned dynamics, our plan is to complete the entire facility by the end of December, in order to meet the conditions for connecting the facility to the distribution system already at the beginning of next year.
