MONTPROJEKT L.L.C. Belgrade is currently performing works on the reconstruction of TS 110/35 kV “Aleksinac” in Aleksinac
The existing TS 110/35 kV “Aleksinac” is a nodal substation which is connected to the 110 kV network with two transmission lines, direction “Niš 1” – 114/3 and direction “Đunis” – 114/2. The 110 kV network works as a radial, in an open loop ( ring ). The 110 kV plant is classic, without busbars, for external installation ( incomplete “H” diagram ). The 35 kV plant is classic, for outdoor installation, with one main and one auxiliary bus system. The substation is permanent, unmanned and remotely controlled. Currently, there are two transformers in operation, with a power of 31.5 MVA and 20 MVA.
The construction, extension and reconstruction of the existing substation is planned, where the complete primary and secondary equipment will be changed as part of the works. In the 110 kV plant, the installation of compact hybrid blocks “HIS” manufactured by “General Electric” is planned. With this solution, within the existing substation, the area for the introduction of another 110 kV transmission line field is obtained in the direction of “Sokobanja” – 1201, so that at the end of the works, TS “Aleksinac” will be connected to the network with three transmission lines in the 110 kV facility. The 35 kV plant is being completely dismantled and a new 35 kV plant is planned, which is located in the new command and control building in free-standing air-insulated cells manufactured by “Siemens”. As part of the works, the complete system of protection and management, as well as own consumption, is being changed. After the works, the total installed power of the substation will be 2 x 31.5 MVA.
