Description of performed works:
Construction of electrical plant for CHP Voždovac
The combined production of electricity and thermal energy ( CHP or cogeneration ) is the most efficient and convenient approach to reduce costs for energy at industrial power plants and heating plants for district heating that use natural gas as fuel in order to produce thermal energy for various needs.
Within the Voždovac Heating Plant, a plant for the combined production of electricity and heat was installed, which consists of three gas engines with a nominal electric power of 10 MW and a thermal power of 10.1 MW, which use natural gas as fuel, and are used for heating and preparation of hot water, while electricity is transferred to the local power grid.
Montprojekt d.o.o. Belgrade performed complete electrical power works on the connection of the CHP plant with the local power grid, including the delivery and installation of a 35 kV switchgear, with protection and control cabinets, a 110 VDC rectifier system, general installations in the building of a 35 kV switchgear, delivery, assembly and connection of 3 step-up transformers 10.5/35 kV, 3 x 5 MVA, complete with connection on the primary and secondary side, as well as a triple 10 kV cable line from the CHP plant to the power transformer.
The plant was officially put into operation on 1st January 2021 .
